ON-SITE REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

Please find your name in following lists, and register on-site at corresponding counters according to your own situation. For speeding up the on-site registration, please remember your registration number.

The hotel deposit is independent of payment mentioned in this instruction. Please check in at the reception desk and directly pay the whole or the rest of your hotel accommodation to JRCC during the conference. The deposit paid to CICCST before the conference has been transferred to JRCC.
 
Name of Counter: Pre- & Free Registration

Applicable to:

• Keynote Speakers
• Participants with financial assistance recognized by Organizing Committee of Eco Summit 2007
• Participants who have pre-registered and fully paid (Excludes hotel fee)
• Participants who have pre-registered and paid, but still have to pay bank charge
• Participants who have paid by bank transfer, hotel deposit excluded, but neither indicated their names on transfer document nor submitted registration form to CICCST (Please bring the original bank transfer receipt with you)

Name of Counter: Registered but Unpaid

Applicable to:

• Participants who have submitted the registration form but have not paid for anything (Excludes hotel fee)
• Participants who have submitted the registration form and partly paid and will pay the rest at the registration desk (Excludes hotel fee)

Name of Counter: On-site Registration

Applicable to:

• Participants who come to the conference registration desk at JRCC without any pre-registration or pre-payment (Excludes hotel fee)

Note 1: If you are a student, please show the staff your studentship certification verified by your institutions or advisors. Students are defined as full-time students, enrolled for degrees or diplomas in a university or other institutions.

Note 2: For speeding up the procedure, you could download and complete the ONSITE REGISTRATION FORM in advance

Name of Counter: Payment

• Cash (USD and CNY) as well as credit cards (Visa, Master, American Express, Diners Club, JCB ) are acceptable.
• Receipts for on-site payment are available.
• Any problems about receipt for pre-payment, please contact the staff at Counter Pre- & Free Registration or Counter Registered but Unpaid 

Name of Counter: Tours (Social Events)

• Detailed information on local tours, post tours and other social events
• On-site reservation for local tours and other social events (Excludes post tours)

Name of Counter: Scientific Information

• Detailed information on program, abstract, poster or any other scientific arrangement

Location, opening dates and time of registration desk 

Registration is required by all participants. We recommend registrations to be submitted by April 20, 2007 to allow delivery of the invitation letter for visas application.

Pre-registrations without payment will be processed as on-site ones.

Registration Fee

* The student fee applies to students registered for a full-time higher degree and must be confirmed on your registration form by your supervisor attesting to student status. This rate is not applicable to post-doctoral students.

The registration fee includes:

• Abstract book
• Mid session refreshments on each day of the conference
• Lunch on each conference day
• Drinks Reception and Opening Ceremony

Fees of accompanying person (USD 140) includes:

• Reception
• Performance
• Opening ceremony
• Mid session refreshments on each day of the conference
• Lunch on each conference day
• Close ceremony
• Bus to/from city center

Payment

Registration fee, hotel deposit and tour fees should be paid in US dollars and made payable by the following methods:

Payment in advance

Please pay correct amount according to both RMB-quotation for room rates and the intraday foreign exchange rate in your bank.
Please consult the selling rate in Bank of China at http://www.boc.cn/en/static/index.html.
Bank charge will be borne by yourself.

Bank draft

Please pay correct amount according to both RMB-quotation for room rates and the intraday foreign exchange rate in your bank.

Bank charge will be borne by yourself.

Credit card

Mastercard, Visa and American Express will be acceptable. Please fill in the necessary information in the Credit Card Payment, sign your name on the Registration Form and please fax or mail it to CICCST.

The total sum will be charged in RMB, according to the introday foreign exchange rate in Bank of China.
4% service charge for credit cards will be borne by participants.

On-site payment

Cash, traveller’s checks and credit card (Visa, Master, American Express, Diners Club, JCB only) are acceptable.

Notes

• In order to avoid any problems with money transfers, please keep a copy of your remittance invoice or receipt.
• Personal checks are not acceptable for the above payments.
• Charge and 4% Credit Card service charge will be borne by the participants.

Cancellation and Refund

Your registration and tour reservations and all payments will be confirmed upon receipt of your registration form and payment within 10 days.
